Step 1 – Research

Do a little research before starting out. After all, it only stands to reason that you should determine whether or not people will be interested in the subject which you are intending writing about. Keep in mind that the more knowledge you gain regarding your chosen subject, the easier it’s going to be for you to sit down and start writing so gather as much relevant information as you can.

Step 2 – Decide on a title

A good title is essential so try and make a note of possible candidates. Of course you don’t have to stick to any of these but it does help having something to work towards.

Step 3 – Mapping the outline

This is where you generate chapter headings based on the ideas you’ve had. Additionally, you need to create associated subheadings and of course, making ample notes along the way will inevitably help you once you start writing.

Step 4 – Start writing

Of course, if you have prepared yourself enough as far as the first three tips are concerned, sitting down and starting to write is certainly going to be easier than what it would have been. Start by writing down all the words you want to discuss in relation to your outline. The big secret here is that you must not edit anything until you have completed the original draft. Don’t proofread, don’t check spelling and don’t even worry about incorrect grammar until the entire first draft is completed.

Step 5 – Fix errors

This is of course when you go over your work in order to correct errors. In addition, ask a few friends or family members to have a read over it in order to get their opinions. Whether or not you decide to make any corrections or adjustments, based on their suggestions, is really up to you and remember, common sense prevails.

Step 6 – Attention grabbing cover and suitable formatting

You’ll don’t only need a thorough knowledge of their products but also of their sales and marketing strategies.

Step 3

While other factors do often come into play, the single most important factor which influences a person’s decision to buy or not to buy is the price. Here you need to strike a balance because while you have to make a profit, you need to present potential customers with a deal which is simply too good to refuse. One thing you must never even consider doing, is over charging them or else they’ll be gone for good.

TIP: Interestingly enough, years of market research and related statistics show that having a price end with a “7”, results in a slight increase of sales. Whether you charge $7, $17, $67 or $36.57, the important thing is, the last digit is a seven.

It is my hope that you have taken the time to know your products and services. Hopefully, you have even taken the steps to establish yourself as an “expert” in your field. If not, hopefully you have made connections with other “experts” in the field that have provided you with valuable information. Set up your own recording studio (this could be on your computer desk), but make sure you are using high quality recording equipment and tools. Now you can either make a recording with a script that you have created, or write an outline. The reason for creating either the script or the outline is that while you are talking, you can stay focused on what you saying and to ensure there is logical flow. This is one of my favorite products to make. Let’s say you have already created an infoproduct in MP3 format. This is where the ebook comes in. You take the MP3 and turn it into an ebook by using a transcription service from eScriptionist.com or AllCustomContent.com.

If you really want to take it to the next level, address a problem and then guide them step-by-step how to solve that problem all within your ebook. People are always looking for answers to their problems. If you’ve encountered a particular problem and solved it, chances are someone else out there has that same problem and is willing to pay you a very nice price to help them solve that problem.

Sell Video Products

Videos are overlooked by many people. They have the misconception that videos are difficult to make. The fact is that you don’t have to outsource this project. You can do it yourself by using a screen capturing software like Camtasia Studio. The hefty price may be a little expensive for some, but the return on investment you get out of it is priceless. It is similar to making a PowerPoint presentation.

Videos are great when it comes to Internet marketing. If you’re an expert in the marketing field, you can show people how to set you their landing page, affiliate programs and so on. If you’re a professional blogger, you can show them step-by-step how to install a blog, write great content, and get massive traffic to their new blog. Some people are kinetic learners, i.e., they learn by watching or seeing the process in action. Not everyone likes to read or sit and listen to someone talk.
