I agree. marketing online will just evolve as all professions do… However 1 thing that will happen I feel is that the cost of marketing will decrease dramatically as social networks allow marketers to promote to specific demographic and psychographic markets.

I think business is like energy. It can not be created nor destroyed. It just change form. Like a big electronic store will become one or many small online stores. So, I don’t think online marketing is too saturated. As long as there is business, they will be converted to online version somehow and someday.

I think its important to do research initially to find out if a business’ area online is saturated before performing online marketing (as should be done with any form of marketing). However, I certainly agree that it isn’t too saturated. great post, Tom!
