Make Money OnlineAs we all know only too well, the Internet is the largest market in the world with literally billions of people online each and every day. For the vast majority, online shopping is an integral part of their online experience. Not only does it save you time and money, but it let’s you sit in the comfort of your own home and shop at any pace you choose, buying whatever you need with nothing more than a few clicks on your mouse.

Literally thousands upon thousand of modern day entrepreneurs are enjoying success solely because of online shopping being so popular. It’s obvious really when you take into consideration that you don’t even need to hire special premises anymore. Instead, all you need to do now is to find or create products which online shoppers will find useful. As long as you can do this, you’re bound to see money coming in.

Below are just three short tips on how you can start earning money by creating Internet products:

Step 1

Try and get a feel for potential customers by doing a little research so you know what they’re likely to want. A good way of doing this is via blogs and forums such as the Warrior Forum where you’ll have a chance of connecting directly with potential customers in the hope of determining the attractiveness of your specific niche. Find out what product they would most like to see become available, and whether or not they’d be willing to spend money on the product you have in mind. Another shrewd but effective way to determine a potential niche is to listen to peoples problems and the questions people tend to ask most frequently. You just never know what you’ll learn. You may even be able to find a niche for a product which addresses some of these problems people have told you about

Step 2

Investigate and research your competitors. You need to remember that the online market place is without a doubt fiercely competitive, as millions of people have realized the potential of the Internet in terms of making money. The only way you’ll stand a chance of succeeding is if you stay ahead of the game and in order to do that, you’ll need to know everything there is to know with regards to your competitors. You’ll don’t only need a thorough knowledge of their products but also of their sales and marketing strategies.

Step 3

While other factors do often come into play, the single most important factor which influences a person’s decision to buy or not to buy is the price. Here you need to strike a balance because while you have to make a profit, you need to present potential customers with a deal which is simply too good to refuse. One thing you must never even consider doing, is over charging them or else they’ll be gone for good.

TIP: Interestingly enough, years of market research and related statistics show that having a price end with a “7”, results in a slight increase of sales. Whether you charge $7, $17, $67 or $36.57, the important thing is, the last digit is a seven.

Tom,

Its so funny that you mentioned Warrior Forum because I was reading a post from Allen there today about being a Product Creator vs. Affiliate Marketer. Then I came upon this post while researching product creation! Cool tip about $7 and I never knew that’s where the $7 script idea must have come from.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for commenting. I’m glad you liked the $7 tip. One other thing about step 3 that I forgot to mention is to try to always over deliver by offering bonuses, but just make sure the bonuses are related. :)

Funny your “7″ theory, I always felt that customers were not idiot and knew there was no difference between 99€ and 100€. Great post!

In practice, obviously it’s going to take some work. Internet product creation is NOT a “get-rich-quick” scheme. It takes planning, researching, and a lot of writing to come up with a high-quality ebook or report that people will buy from you.

Selling free stuff? I wouldn’t go that route. Most of these “free stuff” are perceived as low value. And more often than not, they’re copyrighted, so you cannot just take that free product and resell it as your own.

However, if you don’t want to create your own product, you can opt for resell rights or private label rights (PLR) products. PLR allow you to make limited to unlimited changes to specific or all parts of a digital product. You can find out the benefits of using PLR products in this post here.

I have heard a lot of good feedback from the Warrior Forum. Your blog is encouraging me more to try it for a more productive time that I spend on the net. Now, I won’t just be chatting, reading, surfing, I can use the information I get to come up with creative ideas for an internet products. Your tips are truly helpful and interesting, especially the last one about ending your prices with “7!”

Internet will for sure expand even more, when reaching some third countries. With that there will be even more open internet markets and with that also more possibilities to earn money. Because of that start practising and using internet as far as possible, because now are still some occasion.

That product pricing tip is gold. I will be on the lookout for the next ebook “The Psychology of Product Pricing”. Have a look at all the ad copy and you will notice the “capitalization technique”
